This fall, our community gathered for two signature events that exemplify the power of philanthropy to accelerate discovery in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and related dementias (ADRD). The 2025 Waxman Family Drive Symposium and the 2025 Turken Day Symposium each highlight a distinct—but deeply complementary—approach to advancing the field: empowering bold early-career investigators to take risks and recognizing emerging leaders poised to redefine the therapeutic landscape.
