Biography
Dr. Marie Kim is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry. She received her MD and PhD degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program with a research focus in Immunology, specifically lymphocyte priming and kinetics. Her interest in synthesizing complex systems and integrating both the immune and nervous system for the development of new therapies led her to pursue clinical training in Neurology with a concentration in neurodegenerative dementia. She is committed to bridging innovation and patient care, combining her prior training to interpret a timely advent of new biomarkers and pipeline drugs for the benefit of individuals living with neurodegenerative disease.
