Purpose

Researchers at UCLA are studying brain health to better understand Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions. We are looking for adults who may be interested in contributing to this important research.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are 50 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related condition, or are a healthy adult
  • Are able to provide informed consent, or have a legally authorized representative who can provide consent

Participants will:

  • Provide a blood sample
  • Answer a few health-related questions
  • Complete one brief screening call and one in-person research visit

Your participation can help researchers better understand brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and may contribute to the development of better treatments in the future.

Participants will receive $40 after completing the in-person visit.

Location: UCLA Westwood Medical Center

Time commitment:

  • One screening phone call: approximately 30 minutes
  • One in-person visit: approximately 1 hour
