Equity for Latinx/Hispanic Healthy Aging (ELHA) Lab

The “Equity for Latinx/Hispanic Healthy Aging” (ELHA) Lab focuses on the prevention, early detection/diagnosis, and management of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in Latine/Hispanic communities. It is directed by Dr. Mirella Díaz-Santos, an active member of UCLA Psychiatry Diversity Advisory Committee (PDAC), where she serves as the co-chair of the Research Subcommittee. Dr. Díaz-Santos is also the current chair of the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society (HNS) Mentoring and Education Committee, and an active member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN) Culture and Diversity Committee.
