The Mary S. Easton Center for Alzheimer’s Research and Care at UCLA has very active teams working on basic research, drug discovery, biomarkers for early diagnosis and clinical activity including clinical trials, cognitive testing, and patient care.

The challenges in addressing Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia span numerous domains including screening, diagnosis, and treatment. These challenges demand a collaborative approach between researchers, even those in disparate fields. For the second consecutive year, the Easton Center partnered with the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering for a brainstorming session entitled “Engineering Solutions to Dementia”.
