Alzheimer’s disease affects our growing aging population, projected to increase exponentially to 13 million in the US by 2050. The Mary S. Easton Center for Alzheimer’s Research and Care at UCLA (Easton Center) is dedicated to advancing research, care, and support for all people, families, and communities living with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. The UCLA Easton Center is a comprehensive center focused on Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. The Center encompasses outpatient clinics, genetic testing and counseling, neuropsychology services, basic and clinical science research projects, and an extensive clinical trial program under an integrated organizational structure dedicated to excellent clinical care and developing a cure for Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative diseases. Our Center has faculty and staff spanning several departments in the David Geffen School of Medicine. We have clinical and research sites at the Westwood UCLA campus, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Martin Luther King, Jr. Outpatient Center, and West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center, capturing a large and diverse patient population. Our Center has a California Alzheimer’s Disease Center (CADC), which is a Center of Excellence funded by the California Department of Public Health.
